Our aim is that students develop their creativity and a critical and flexible thinking thanks to the knowledge and the interrelationship of the various disciplines of Art and Design. We provide them with all the possibilities to become curious researchers, to know, connect and develop own and joint presentations and ideas, to be able to appreciate, enjoy and share them and to analyze and distinguish between different periods throughout the history of art.
We also intend them to learn how to communicate ideas, processes and products and to choose appropriate techniques for each purpose, to develop the skills to solve problems and achieve independence. We want our students to know the world of arts, to respect them and to work together to preserve and continue with the process of creation.
We work with collaborative spirit and respect for oneself and for others. Thus, the multiplicity of ideas and personalities enrich the learning process for both students and teachers.
Our art workshop has a digital area to achieve virtual expressive forms, a fourth Chroma Key connected to the Internet to work with moving art, video art and expressive forms based on projections and set ups, a photo lab, etching press, a small blast furnace, easels for drawing and painting, as well as tools and materials needed for creating designs, jigsaws, saws, looms, etc.
