Kindergarten

Our challenge is to accompany children in their first steps of schooling, respecting their individuality, favouring the development of their potential and promoting their social skills based on solid values.
Inés Velasques, Head of Kindergarten

We offer children from 1 to 5 years old an enthusiastic, affectionate, reliable and respectful environment that gives them the opportunity to play, know, create, express and learn and thus achieve a full integration of states of intellectual, emotional and spiritual wellness.  We provide bilingual education as from Kinder 3.

Our priority is to transmit and promote the values of friendship, truth, freedom and solidarity.  We create bonds of affection and trust so that children gain confidence in their abilities.  We stimulate their desire to learn, the development of communication (oral, body and graphic language) and creative skills, the pleasure to explore and the participation in group activities.  We educate on respect and mutual aid, which helps in the socialization process.

We contemplate rhythms, timing and individual evolutionary needs and we encourage the development of multiple intelligences.  We use games as a permanent strategy for children to be the protagonists of their own learning and to build concepts from interventions provided by the teacher.

We use the English language on a daily basis as a means of communication both inside and outside the classroom.  So, when used during  games and classroom routines, children start incorporating it naturally.  They will gradually start building their first sentences, making descriptions, telling stories and providing thoughts and ideas.

We have gender-mixed classrooms and each is headed by a teacher and a helper.  We offer catechesis to our students in Kinder 5 and we often invite families to participate in events related to the proposals made in class.
